Create your own color popups

Open Userlist Popup menu.
Settings -> Advanced -> Userlist Popup menu.

Click on the button 'Add New'.
You will see *NEW* and EDIT ME in the 'Name' and 'Command' edit boxes.

Remove *NEW* and replace it with SUB to start a popup menu, remove the EDIT ME part and and replace it with the name you want to call your menu (in the picture it's called "Popups"), then click the Save button.

Open the Userlist Popup menu again, click 'Add New' and replace *NEW* with another SUB to create a sub menu, replace EDIT ME with the name you want to call your sub menu ("Greetings").

Now do the same thing again, click on Add New, remove *NEW* and replace it with the name you want to call your popup ("hello"), then remove EDIT ME and replace it with the popup.
Check the Text Events page: How to add color.
Use SUB to start a new (sub)menu, use ENDSUB to end a (sub)menu.

Find the colors you want to use in the Settings -> Preferences -> Colors menu.
You can use the colors there or change colors by clicking the color boxes.

Start your popup with "say" to say it in the channel or with "me" to make it an action.
Use %s for selected nick and %c for current channel.
Use the Move Up/Move Dn buttons to move your popups to the right place in your menu, then use the Save button to save your popup.

Special Codes:

CTRL Codes

If you just want to type some colored or bold text in your channel you can also use the CTRL codes (like in mIRC press and hold the CTRL key then type K<color number>/B/U/O): CTRL+K (color), CTRL+B (bold), CTRL+U (underlined) and CTRL+O (end of codes).

E.g. to type colored text in yellow bold with a blue background you could type:

It will look like this in your channel:

Hello!
