Install
Quit XChat.
Move the colors.conf and pevents.conf files of your old theme to a temporary directory (you can find the conf files in XChat's data directory, see next.).
Copy the colors.conf and pevents.conf files of your new theme inside XChat's data directory:
WINDOWS : C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\X-Chat 2\
VISTA/W7 : C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\X-Chat 2\
LINUX/UNIX: ~/.xchat2/ (/home/username/.xchat2).
Restart XChat.
If you can't see certain characters use pevents.conf in B-Version which is in the zip file.
Tips
1.
To change the font and font size go to Settings -> Preferences -> Text box - Text Box Appearance - 'Font: --- Browse'.
2.
To use textbox font and color(background color) for the channel and userlist
go to Settings -> Preferences -> User list - check 'Use the Text box font and colors' or type:
/set gui_ulist_style on
3.
To use the inputbox and topicbar in textbox color
go to Settings -> Preferences -> Input box - check 'Use the text box font and colors' or type:
/set gui_input_style on
4.
For small tabs/tree font go to Settings -> Preferences -> Channel switcher - check 'Smaller text' or type:
/set tab_small 1
or for extra small tabs/tree font type:
/set tab_small 2
5.
To set a color timestamp use the Ctrl keys for color e.g. Ctrl+K<colornumber> and copy and paste the codes into the time stamp format box,
Settings -> Preferences -> Text box - Time Stamps - 'Time stamp format:'
